Red Bull, you may recognize the name from their popular energy drink, made an open call to all artists around the world to get creative with their product to be showcased in an exhibition that would tour the country. Their latest stop was right  here on South Beach. Red Bull set up a makeshift gallery right on Ocean drive which was free to the public and open for the majority of the day. Apparently this is their ninth stop in the States, but have had galleries all over the world, which makes this stop in Miami pretty convenient. Some of the pieces were truly impressive, cool to see where people’s creativity take them when all the artists started off with the same thing. Check out some of the highlights from the gallery.

www.worthathousandblurbs.com is a new site that just went live courtesy of my bestest friend Gene Tjin. WATB is a site that showcases pictures from various photographers that follow a specific theme. New themes are released bi-weekly with “color” as the inaugural guideline. What a simple, yet amazing idea for a site, I’d expect nothing less from Gene. Despite the blatant conflict of interest, one of my photos was selected for the launch, its probably because its the first set of photos, I’m sure after the site gets going my photos will get tossed in the bin with the rest of the bullshit they will receive. Anyway, check it out!

Because I’m in NEEWWW YYOORRKK. But not under the best circumstances, had a family emergency over the weekend and took a last minute flight up here. I’ll be here for the week, so I’m hoping that will mean tons of photos, which so far hasn’t really happened. Went for a stroll in the city yesterday, it was raining and very cold, today is the same deal. I only got to take a few photos, most of our time was spent in the subway, which I found was the most amazing thing in the world when tolls each way over the George Washington bridge are $8.00, then we spent $30.00 to park. I got a week pass for the subway so I’ll be able to jump on an go whereever I want. Here are a few quick snaps of the city from yesterday, I’ll update as the week continues.

While I was out on the West coast last year, I shot some photos of Neil Tjin’s 2010 Chevy Camaro. Well. One of those photos, and my favorite from the set has made its way onto Vortech Supercharger’s blog. Check it out here!
