NSCRA Season Opener @ Palm Beach International Raceway!

We had an action packed weekend with the Fortune CR-Z. First Active’s Spring Social, and now NSCRA! The guys from Team Clutchmasters were gracious enough to allow us to display the CR-Z alongside their fully tube framed race cars that are unbelievable pieces of machinery. Norris and Loan also showed us some awesome hospitality as we stayed cool inside of their rig all day, but we somehow still managed to get a sunburn. The racing action was exciting as well, tons of fast cars and the day went pretty smoothly without any rain or weather delays, which is a rare occurrence in Florida. Active Autowerke 30th Anniversary Spring Social

For anyone who doesn’t know, Active Autowerke is the authority when it comes to BMW performance tuning. There’s probably some argument pertaining to that last statement but there’s a reason why they’ve been around for 30 years, that’s longer than some of us have been on this planet (me). Active Auto held their 30 year anniversary this past weekend with a little get together at their beautiful facility in Miami, Florida. Active put on this little bash to celebrate their tenure in BMW tuning and to give a little back to the enthusiasts that support Active. They debuted a video that we indirectly helped with that gave a little history about the company that they started 30 years ago that has evolved into what we have today. The video was put together by our friends at www.pixotheory.com, a talented group of guys from Ft Lauderdale that never disappoint when it comes to automotive videos. Active doesn’t have much to do with the Fortune Motorsports CR-Z other than the fact that we are boys and we wanted to show support. Some of the guys from ADV.1 also showed up to show their support as well. See, we’re all friends down here in Miami! This was a great event from Active, and we congratulate those guys for doing it right for a long time, and hopefully a long time to come as well. Check out some of the highlights from the day!

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is what you’ve all been waiting for! Warren Shim-Quee with Fortune Motorsports and Tjin Edition is proud to present their 2011 Samurai Gold Honda CR-Z. As SEMA is set to kick off this week, we wanted everyone to get a full scale preview of what is to be unveiled this week at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Shim-Quee’s Honda CR-Z will be displayed all week long in the American Honda Booth (booth #24887) where it will be surrounded by a variety of other CR-Z builds. More photos and information to come this week!

No More Upskirts! The Cover is OFF!

As promised, we’d try our best to keep everyone at the edge of their seat as SEMA approaches. Last week we released the tarp photo which was inspired by a rendering from Gurnade Design Firm. We’ll start this week by releasing our full rendering which served as the main blueprint for our SEMA build. The guys at Gurnade pretty much nailed it with this rendering, but we’ve come to expect nothing less from them. For those of you who are anxious for the full reveal at SEMA, we can tell you that this rendering is almost 100% accurate to what you’ll be seeing next week. Stay tuned for more updated throughout the week!

With the SEMA Show only a few weeks away, Warren Shim-Quee with Fortune Motorsports, Tjin Edition Tour and ADV.1 Wheels have put together this teaser inspired by the original Gurnade Design Firm rendering that was released a few months ago. Without giving too much away before the Honda CR-Z is unveiled at SEMA, this teaser photo shows off a set of Track Spec ADV10’s provided by ADV.1 Wheels, a Baer T4 big brake upgrade and HKS Kansai short lips. As SEMA gets closer, the team at Fortune Motorsports will be unveiling more teasers until the Honda is debuted at SEMA in the American Honda Motor Co. booth (booth #24887).
